Esterhazy is located on Hwy #22, in the southeastern corner of Saskatchewan, 30 km south of the Yellowhead highway (Hwy #16), and 55 km north of the TransCanada highway (Hwy #1). It is a 2.5-hour drive from Regina, where the closest international airport is. (Drive west along Hwy #1 to Hwy #9. Turn north onto Hwy #9 and drive north to Hwy #22. Turn east onto Hwy #22 and drive approx. 10-15 mins. to Esterhazy western town limits). When you see the big welcome sign and the national heritage site of the Esterhazy Flour Mill, you will know you have arrived.
The nearest city is Yorkton, a 50-minute drive northwest of Esterhazy.

The Town of Esterhazy is situated between two scenic valleys: the Qu'Appelle River Valley that extends 260 km east to west from its confluence with the Assiniboine River in western Manitoba to Lake Diefenbaker in south central Saskatchewan, and the Kaposvar Valley that skirts in the town's north end then winds through the town's 9 hole golf course and flows southeast along an abandoned rail line to join with the Qu'Appelle River Valley near the neighboring village of Tantallon. Esterhazy is less than a five-hour drive from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan's largest center, and less than a three-hour drive from the province's capital city of Regina. The Wander Inn Motel is located on Hwy #22 on the eastern outskirts of the Town of Esterhazy, overlooking the gateway to the beautiful Kaposvar Valley. It is on the south side of the highway, within walking distance of a gas station, snack bar and convenience store west of it and a family restaurant west of the gas station.
